Custom furniture is made to your spec, not picked from a catalogue. You tell us the size, the colour and the look — a panelled headboard with matching pedestals, a five-drawer chest in a velvet finish, a TV unit that fits one particular wall — and we build it in our workshop, then deliver and fit it. Good carpentry is mostly measuring. Walls are rarely square, floors are rarely level and door openings are rarely the size on the plan, so we measure every opening and wall before anything is cut. That's the difference between a cupboard that fills its alcove and one with filler strips down the side, or a door that closes cleanly and one that sticks every winter.
Coastal humidity matters for timber. Doors, frames and cupboard carcasses near bathrooms, kitchens and outside walls are made from moisture-resistant board or properly sealed timber, and hung or fixed so they still work after a damp season.
